Meet Everly! Everly was rescued from a high-kill shelter where she didn’t get any inquiries for adoption for a long time, which increases the risk of being euthanized. Her well-being was a concern as well because she was bullied by other dogs. Luckily rescuers were able to get her out and into safety.

Everly is shy and timid with strangers at first but opens up over time. She could freeze and hide or step back especially toward adult men, but never showed any signs of aggression. With patience and time, she opens up and is a very sweet and adorable girl who loves cuddling.

She is ok with other dogs but does not show much interest in other dogs. Everly is ok with walking outside but it takes some time for her to be comfortable with new surroundings. Once she becomes comfortable, she will start exploring with her tail up. She gets easily startled at loud noise or sudden appearance of people.

Everyly has no separation anxiety. She doesn’t mess up anything in the house when left at home. She is potty pad trained indoor but sometimes make accidents while no one is at home. With a consistent outdoor potty schedule, we are sure she will learn quickly.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Everly in patiently waiting!
