Meet Charcoal! Charcoal is an adorable 11 month old black mini poodle. He was found wandering around a suburban apartment complex in Korea. Charcoal is very affectionate and an amazing lap dog. He wants to cuddle, receive belly rubs, and sit on your lap as much as possible. He likes to play with his toys and loves being off-leash at the dog run.

Charcoal knows basic commands like ‘sit, down, wait, crate, etc.” He’s very friendly towards other dogs, though will bark at strangers and when he’s scared. He’s a good watch dog as he will bark if anybody approaches the house.

Charcoal does have separation anxiety, and he is responding slowly but surely to the separation training his foster family is doing. His new owner will need to continue the process, and have patience while he learns he’s safe alone.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Charcoal is patiently waiting!
