Meet Sawyer! Sawyer was rescued from a puppy mill where he was left caged up for almost his entire life. The puppy mill was a horrible place of neglect and abuse. Thankfully rescuers were able to rescue him and many others from the mill however Sawyer does have trauma from his years in the mill (he does not like being kenneled.) Sawyer LOVES people and enjoys nothing more than cuddling on your lap. He loves to be around dogs and play but can be a bit overwhelming for some dogs. Sawyer would be best in a home with a yard due to his leash reactivity as well as another dog since he enjoys the company. He would need a home that is dedicated in working with him but has the foundation and environment to keep him comfortable. Sawyer truly is an amazing boy who needs a savvy and patient home. Sawyer is patiently waiting!
