Meet Rocky (aka Red)! Rocky is an adorable 7 months old Jindo mix. Rocky was born into a slaughterhouse and only had his mom around. The slaughter house had a wildfire run through and many animals were kept in their crates. Unfortunately some did not survive and many were left with severe injuries. Luckily Rocky was not harmed. He had no human interactions there and the few he had were all negative. Because of this he can be shy at first when meeting new people and takes a little bit of time to open up. Regardless of this, Rocky is sweet, exceptionally smart, and loves to play! He has no signs of aggression towards dogs and other animals such as cats or birds.

Ever since his mom got adopted, he heavily depends on Buddie (a mastiff puppy also looking for a home) and finds refuge in him. He likes to lay on top of Buddie’s back and always leans on him. It would be ideal if they got adopted to the same family! Although he is very timid towards humans, he opens up quickly once he trusts you.

His mother was called a very smart dog, and Rocky resembles his mother the most. He is fearless and active outside and loves to play among other dogs. Rocky loves to play with toys and running around. He is crazy about water. He once jumped into the water as soon as he saw it. Sometime he sits down in a large bowl of water.

The perfect home for Rocky would be one with Buddy! Once where he can run around freely and play in water occasionally. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Rocky is patiently waiting!
