Penny
Meet Penny! Sweet Penny is a loving, gentle, happy, goofy, clumsy baby-giant puppy girl. She is a Mastiff mix, about 6-7 months old. If you’re a big-dog person, then you need to meet her! She will steal your heart with her silly grin, her sloppy kisses, and her squishy hugs. Penny’s favorite hobbies are flopping onto her foster mom’s lap, and stealing her foster mom’s spot on the couch.
Penny was rescued with her littermates from a meat-farm in Korea as a baby puppy. She was raised in a kennel by kind humans, and now she’s learning how to be a house-dog. She is almost house trained with a doggie door, and doesn’t chew things up (much). She will happily go into the crate to nap or for overnight. She is playful with her foster mom and the other dogs. She hasn’t been tested with cats, but she does want to chase the chickens to play with them. She takes a minute to warm up to strangers, and then is very friendly and silly. Due to her expected size, clumsiness, and puppy-type energy, she might not be appropriate in homes with toddler-sized children.
Penny is being fostered in El Sobrante, Richmond, CA. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a large-breed puppy. Penny is patiently waiting!
