Meet Odie! Odie is an adorable 6-8 months old German Shepherd mix. He was found with 2 other German Shepherd mixes running around the Danville Police Station. They were starving and thirsty, and running into traffic. Their rescuer caught them and brought them home. They sleep in a mudroom with a doggie door to their yard. They are definitely a “family” who survived because they had each other.
Odie is such a goofball who will just “plop!” down in front of you in the blink of an eye! You can’t but love his friendly smile and eagerness to be with you. He learns quickly (he knows how to use a doggy door and sit) and absolutely adores playing with other dogs. He is pretty easy to train as he is food motivated. Odie loves chew toys and bones and is learning to catch a fly ball! Odie’s perfect home would be with a family familiar with raising a larger breed who loves to play, chew, and be your perfect (if not somewhat large!) lap dog.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Odie is patiently waiting!
