Meet Momo! Momo is an adorable 2-3 year old Terrier/Jindo mix with a really cute face. Momo was one of twenty dogs left unattended in a greenhouse in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The owner was an old man and he brought many street dogs to the house but he didn’t take care of the house nor the dogs. He was an animal hoarder and Momo and other dogs were left in a really dirty and poor environment for a long time. Last summer, several dogs died in a terribly hot greenhouse and Momo was able to be rescued dramatically.

At first, Momo was afraid of people and it took a long time to adjust to a new environment because she was born in the greenhouse and has never been outside the greenhouse. However, she overcame her fear by continuously training by volunteers over the past year and has been opening up her mind enough to take a walk since 6 months ago.

Momo has become very bright and it only takes a week or two to get close to strangers and once she gets close, she acts really cute. The ideal home for Momo is a family that will be patient and slowly open up her heart. Also since Momo likes to take walks and smell things outside, it would be nice if she can take a walk often or she can have her own time in a private yard. Momo is patiently waiting!
