Meet Jenny! Sweet Jenny is a loving, gentle, happy, goofy, clumsy baby-giant puppy girl. She is a Mastiff / mix, about 7-8 months old. If you’re a big-dog person, then you need to meet her! She will steal your heart with her shy grin, her gentle kisses, and her sweet hugs. Jenny’s favorite hobbies are nibbling her foster mom’s chin in greeting, and carrying around sticks to give to her foster mom as gifts.
Jenny was rescued with her littermates from a meat-farm in Korea as a baby puppy. She was raised in a kennel by kind humans, and she has done well with her foster mom, learning how to be a house-dog. She is house trained with a doggie door, and doesn’t chew things up. She will happily go into the crate to nap or for overnight. She does fine in the car, and enjoys exploring the world on walks. She hasn’t been tested with cats, but she does want to chase the chickens to play with them.
Jenny is shy, and will take a while to warm up to new people. Once she does warm up, she is sweet, loving, and just so grateful to have a human to love her back. She gains confidence from the other dogs, and she would do best in a home with another calm, confident dog. She can be hyper-vigilant about her surroundings, and would not thrive in an apartment, or in a busy downtown type area. She would also do best in a quiet home with adults, that doesn’t have a lot of strangers visiting all the time.
Jenny is being fostered in El Sobrante, Richmond, CA. She is patiently waiting for a person or family whose heart is big enough to hold her in it!
