Meet Garen (aka Gangho)! Garen is an adorable 8 months old Jindo mix. He is shy at first but open up over time. Garen can be more scared of men, especially when they make sudden movements or makes loud noises. He has not been around kids but will likely be better with children 13 and up due to his shyness.
Garen loves other dogs and loves to play! He has met cats on his walks and has tried to chase them, so a home with no cats will be best. He loves his squeaky toys, balls and picking up sticks on his walks! Garen likes to play fetch as well!
Garen has no separation anxiety but will bark when he hears a sudden or strange noise outside. He gets scared if you hold long objects like sticks, brooms or golf club high, which is a sign of previous abuse. Garen is a smart guy and understands sit and paw. He doesn’t like to be in the crate but he stays still when foster puts him there
We are looking for a patient home who will show him that the world is not a scary place. Garen is patiently waiting!
