Meet Ford! Ford is a sweet, happy, playful 2 year old Jindo/Samoyed mix. He was rescued from an illegal meat farm in Bu-cheon, South Korea in July, 2021. He was on the list to be slaughtered with 28 other dogs. He was at the top of the list, because he is so compliant and easy to manage. Luckily, a rescuer found out about him and saved him!

Once Ford warms up to a new person (maybe a day), he is a big snuggle-bug. He loves to be scratched, is quite food motivated, and is very gentle. He has a great balance between wanting to play with his foster mom and the other dogs, and being able to relax and be mellow. He is great with other dogs, good on leash, house-trained, and doesn’t chew things up. He hasn’t been cat or child tested.

Ford prefers to hang around outside, so he would do best in a home with a yard. He gets carsick, so he would do well in a home where adventures begin at the front door, rather than driving to the beach and mountains and such frequently.

We are looking for a home who can help this resilient guy keep growing in confidence. Ford is patiently waiting!
