Meet Chunli! Chunli is an adorable 1.5 year old terrier mix. She was rescued from an abuse case when she was pregnant and gave birth to 8 healthy puppies! Chunli was not in the best health but nurse her babies amazingly! She took care of them with so much love and care!

Chunli is good on leash and very gentle. She was a bit sensitive when she was in labor and giving birth but gradually built trust with her foster mom who took excellent care of her and her babies. Chunli is an adorable lap dog, who just LOOOOVES people and their touches! She even demands belly rubs from strangers. She is very clever and smart. She understands “No” very well, so whenever her foster mom tries to stop her from eating human food or bolting during a walk, she immediately understands and stops.

Chunli loves going for walks and gets very excited and energetic when going out, otherwise she is low energy and calm at home. She prefers frequent shorter walks compared to long walks/hikes. She can be a bit shy with other dogs. Chunli gets a little cautious of other dogs who she bumps into during a walk. She has no aggression though but prefers to be the only dog at home.

Chunli would do best in a relatively quiet, suburban area without loud, sudden noises (she was surprised by buses and motorcycles on her walks). We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Chunli is patiently waiting!
