Meet Buddie (aka Wooljindol)! Buddie is an adorable 7 months old Mastiff mix. He was rescued from a dog farm in Ul-Jin, South Korea. This farm was in the middle of the woods and unfortunately had a wildfire run through it. The owners ran when the fire happened and left the dogs in their crates, unable to escape for their own lives. Many of the dogs did not make it, but there were some survivors. Buddie had severe burn marks and was treated for his injuries. Although he went through a very traumatic experience, he is the sweetest guy ever!
Buddie is a very kind and gentle giant. He shows no signs of aggression towards other dogs and animals. He can be a bit shy towards humans due to the rough handling he received since birth, but with more time and love he will definitely open up!His best friend at the shelter is Rocky, seen in his photos. They both depend on each other and help each other overcome their fears. Rocky likes to lay on top on Buddie and leans on him a lot. Their perfect home would be if they can get adopted together!We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Buddie is patiently waiting!
