Meet Scooter! Scooter is one of our Frenchies rescued from a horrific puppy mill. Scooter was used for breeding at the mill until he hit his current age before they deemed him “too old” and “useless”. At the mill they debarked him so he cannot make any noise in his kennel. His whole life was spent in a tiny kennel that he overgrown years ago. The puppy mill owners attempted to drive up to a deserted mountain and let him out of the car. Luckily rescuers caught them before he was dumped and took him and another Frenchie, Lisa, in.

Since then Scooter has been recovering in a foster home and had a full vet check done. Scooter does have cataracts in both eyes, other than that he’s a healthy and happy guy. Because of his past, Scooter is a little scared and will be timid when meeting new people. But once he opens up, he’s a total love bug. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Scooter is patiently waiting!
