Meet Jorgi! Can you believe this cutie is looking for his forever home?? Jorgi is a beautiful soul with a zest for life that is inspiring! His happy-go-lucky spirit and playful manner are sure to warm your heart. His past has left him a little timid, but within a few days his family becomes his world; his favorite pastimes include cuddles and snuggles. Jorgi will be a great partner on walks and is great passenger in the car or boat! He is fully housetrained, knows how to use a doggie-door, and rarely (if ever) barks. Canine socialization is improving every day and while Jorgi still gets excited around other dogs he is learning that calm greetings make friends more quickly! Like all young dogs, he still has some puppy energy and would enjoy taking classes with his forever family. Jorgi is looking for a caring adopter who understands that he may need reassurance in new situations. Jorgi is currently being fostered in San Ramon area. “HI! My name is Jorgi, and I am searching for my forever family. Somehow along the way, I ended up at a shelter but luckily for me, the nice people at Love and Second Chances rescued me just in time! Having never had a real family, I am in the process of “learning” to be a dog. I have learned to play with my four legged foster sister. I have learned to sleep on my dog pillow. I have learned basic commands – sit, stay, down, come – anything for a kind word or treat! I have learned that I love to lounge around the house and chew on my bone, but also to go outside and play. Most importantly, I have learned that humans do not mean me any harm and that the world is a good place after all.
