Meet Hyejin! Hyejin was found around 6 months ago all alone on the side of a road as a young pup. A rare beauty, she stands out among all the dogs at the shelter and all the staff and volunteers can’t get enough of her playful attitude and adorable looks. She was quite shy at first, but we’ve seen her gradually open up during the last few months, which was a very rewarding experience. She lives in a room with many other dogs who are a similar age as her, and gets along great with everyone too. Neither a pushover or overly dominant, she is the perfect mix of easy-going and playful.

As a young girl having known very little of life beyond the shelter, Hyejin has a lot to learn, but given her tender nature, she will be easy to work with. As with many Shiba mixes, we also believe she has great potential to become an intelligent and loyal companion. You can also easily adapt her to city life, as most Shibas are a good size for that, and inherently very considerate and fastidious. She really is an all-around player. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. She is patiently waiting!
