Meet Domi (her foster home sometimes sing Do Re Mi when calling her name)! Domi is an adorable 6 months old FMD/shepherd mix. A super sweet and curious puppy who is full of kisses for everyone she meets! She loves stuffed animals to chew on and her favorite so far is a monkey that has already lost all of its stuffing but she still loves to chew on the material! She approaches and greets all dogs and will also let them know if they are spending too much time in her personal space. She does great on a leash and likes to run around and explore everything. Her recall is getting better, but her foster home hasn’t taken her off leash in public because everything is still so new to her.

In the evenings, she’ll walk into her crate with a toy in her mouth and will happily go to bed. She has let her foster home know when she needs to go potty in the morning by making noises to get them up. She also uses her crate throughout the day to play and nap in. Potty training has been going well. She is starting to learn that she gets rewarded for going potty outside the house. When she has had accidents inside the house, it has always been in the same area which makes it easier to recognize when she’s ready to do her business.

She loves spending time on the couch napping and cuddling and looking for belly rubs. She has a very good appetite – definitely won’t be a picky eater. She mastered the doggy door within the first 10 min of being in the house. She is still learning how to play. It will be very important for Domi to socialize with other dogs every day. She is a curious girl and will try and follow other dogs’ leads. She loves to run around, chase, and be chased! She is a sweet and affectionate girl and easily goes up to people asking to be loved. She’s been wonderful with kids. She would be fine to go to a home where she’s the only dog, or a home with an older more chill dog. She is at a very fun puppy stage where she soaks in everything she sees and hears and also remembers commands quickly (all driven by treats of course)! This love bug is ready to be a part of a loving family to call her own! We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Domi is patiently waiting!
