Helping death-row, abused, and neglected dogs find forever homes. We do not discriminate by breed, age or special needs. As long as we’re capable of helping out, we will never say no!
Meet Chewie! Chewie was rescued in horrific conditions. His snout was bound closed with rubber bands and left for a long period of time. Every time he tries to eat or drink water, the bands will dig deeper into his snout. Overtime as he grew, it only cut more and more into his skin until it tore through to the bone. Poor guy was left like this as a stray wandering the streets.
Regardless of all his hardships, Chewie is a very happy and forgiving dog. Since being rescued, he has really blossomed. He is very playful and is warming up to people he meets. Chewie has been learning how to walk on leash and is already learning not to pull! We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog. Chewie is patiently waiting!
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
