Meet Camiru! Camiru is is a spunky, playful 6 months old Formosan Mountain Dog mix. She and her sister Cama are being fostered together, and they are just never-ending bundles of pure cute! They would love to be adopted together, but could be adopted separately to the right homes.

Camiru’s talents include nibbling your earrings without getting your ears, stealing the TV remote and taking it outside where you can’t find it, and managing to get around the X-pen. She also excels at giving drive-by kisses and squishing your face so that she can kiss you more. She and her sister have perfected the synchronized belly-up maneuver, and they perform this trick regularly.

She is house-trained (with a doggie-door). She’s food motivated, and warms up to new people after a brief introduction period. She is initially fearful of new dogs (and can have some fear-based leash reactivity) but once properly introduced LOVES to play! She also loves to rough-house with the cat – which her foster-mom’s cat enjoys, but many cats might not. She is still in the puppy “chewing on everything” stage, but is responsive to “Give that to me…” She doesn’t like to be left in the crate, but does fine with no human at home, left in the house with the other dogs. She will likely be 30 – 35 lbs full grown.

Camiru is being fostered in El Sobrante. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Camiru is patiently waiting!
