No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Vera! Vera was rescued along with litter mates and mom when they were abandoned by the seaside. The little family was looked after by coastguards before rescuers were contacted after a man took one of the litter mates at 20 days old. Knowing the puppies won’t be abel to survive without pup at that age the rescuers feared that people will start taking the puppies away. Thankfully rescuers were able to get momma and pups all into foster care. Vera is a sweet pup who would love nothing more then to find a forever home. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Vera is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody! Things are going great with Vera (now Eva). She really took to us from day one. She’s such a sweetheart wagging her tail at anyone she sees, and desperately wants to be friends with our two cats, who are not her biggest fan! LOL. She’s such a smart girl, learning to sit, shake, and down. I know she’s going to learn a lot more! She also loves going to the dog park and playing with the big dogs. She can out run most of them, the speedster. Our son really loves to snuggle with her, and Eva is always happy to see him after school. We really love her so much and couldn’t ask for a better dog to join our family!!"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
