Brief Bio:

Meet Ruby! Ruby is an adorable lab/jindo mix puppy who was rescued from the Korean meat farm with her siblings. Ruby is very sweet and affectionate and would love nothing more than a home to call her own!

"Hi Melody, Below are several pics of Ruby (now re-named Poppy, because it sounds like ‘puppy’ which she has been responding to us calling her that). Poppy is almost house trained but not yet fully crate trained. No potty accidents the last 1/2 week and we’re learning her signals for wanting to go outside. She is settling in with our 3.5yr old female Jindo dog (also named ‘Jindo’). They are getting used to each other although Poppy likes to steal chews away from Jindo. Luckily Jindo is very patient in this regard and exhibits no resource guarding. Although during play, Jindo tends get too excited and rough on Poppy. But Poppy has gained confidence and is learning a bit of Jindo’s rough play style. Poppy kisses Jindo, but Jindo hasn’t kissed back yet. We been taking Poppy to Nathalie Smith’s puppy socials and consulting her, to ensure Poppy develops healthy social & play skills. We’re also using this opportunity to work on correcting our Jindo’s play style as well. Last night Poppy met up with one of her litter mate, River, at a dog park in San Jose. Overall Poppy is growing quickly. Having started at 16.5 lbs at 12 weeks, to 21.5 lbs at current week 16. -Dean & Christine"
