No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Oscar! Oscar was rescued along with his siblings when they were abandoned in an empty field. They stuck by each other while looking for food and clean water. Luckily a rescuer was able to find them and bring them to the vet where they received a full check up. Oscar is a very sweet and loving pup who would love nothing more than to find a family. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Oscar is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody, Thanks for checking in! Oscar (he is now Leonard) is doing great! He has bonded with both my husband and me (although I think me a little more 😀) but he feels comfortable with us both. He has really opened up to other dogs and loves play time with other pups. He is still shy with other people and doesn’t really let other people pet him, but we are bringing him to work and lots of places to help socialize him. He eating well and growing, I think he’s about 15 pounds now. Thank you so much for rescuing him and bringing him into our life, we are so happy to have him a part of our family.
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
