Brief Bio:

Meet Misty! She was found scavenging the streets for food and shelter with her siblings. They were abandoned at a very young age and had to learn to fend for themselves. Luckily a rescuer was able to find them and bring them to the vet where they received a full check up. Misty is a very sweet and loving pup who would love nothing more than to find a family. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Misty is patiently waiting!

"Hi Melody! We would like to start by saying thank you. Thank you for making this entire process seamless, and our Christmas merry :) Love & Second Chances is a fantastic organization to work with. You and Eve were so responsive and the best duo to work with during our adoption process. So thank you. Misty, who now goes by Maple Kulkarni, immediately has made our house her home. She loves her mommy, Christina, and they snuggle on the couch for hours on end watching cheezy Netflix shows. In the mornings, she can't wait to race downstairs and get her bowl of food, which she used to scarf down in seconds, but now is learning to eat slower since there is no competition :) We have a huge friends and family circle who she has gotten to meet over the holidays, including the dogs from Christina's parents' house. She was shy at first, but by Day 2, she was running in the backyard playing with them and it was a great sight to see her already so easy with other dogs. We also have met a few other dogs in our neighborhood and it's the same story -- takes a second to warm up, but is an absolute sweetheart and very friendly with them. In terms of both children and adults, she has become very protective of Christina and I. But once we warm her up to them, she is friendly and playful with EVERYONE. She loves her toys and will play with me for hours. She lost her first puppy tooth day before yesterday and we saved it :) All in all, she has been the perfect addition to our family, and one of the sweetest, most loving little girls ever. Again, thank you so much for all the support and quick responses. Maple is doing fantastic and we absolutely adore her. Please let us know if you need anything else, thank you. Thank you for following up."
