No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Kathie! Kathie was rescued along with her siblings when they were found abandoned and huddling together for warmth. They were very scared and didn’t know what was going on. The pups were dirty and very skinny but thankfully a rescuer was able to get them all off the streets and to the vet for a full check up. Kathie is a shy but sweet girl who will open up with time. We are looking for a understanding and patient home that will continue to show Kathy what it means to be in a family. Kathie is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody! Thanks for following up! Kathie (now Jessie) is doing great! She is definitely coming out of her shell. We have seen major improvements in her confidence level in just the past week. She loves spending time in the backyard with us and already understands the concept of fetch. Jessie is one smart girl! We are working on potty training and accidents in the house are getting less and less each day. She also loves her kitty siblings Snickers and Bolt and is so gentle and calm around them. Jessie is a great addition to our family! We love her so much already. Thank you for everything. We are so happy to give Jessie her forever home! - Emily and Scott Cory"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
