No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Iris! Iris was rescued along with litter mates when they were dumped in a park at a very young age with food, shelter or water. A rescuer spotted them and knew that if they weren’t rescued they would not survive. Luckily space opened up and they were able to make it off the street and to the vet for a full check up. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Iris is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody, Here are some photos of Iris (Penelope now)! She has been wonderful so far. Her favorite things are chasing the ball/ playing with all her other toys, running through leaves when we go on walks, and cuddling with her mom. She learned how to jump on the bed a few days ago, so now she also likes to jump on and off the bed for fun. She was 16 pounds when I got her, but now she is 24 pounds! Thanks! - Kitty"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
