No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Howell! Howell was rescued along with litter mates when they were found abandoned in rural field with no food, water or any shelter. The rescuer knew that if they were not rescued that there is little chance of them surviving the heat wave. Luckily for the pups the rescuers were able to get them off the streets and to the vet for a full check up. Howell is a sweet and happy pup who would love nothing more then to find her forever home. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Howell is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody, Max, fka Howell, is doing great! He is a sweetheart and has adjusted so well to our family and home. And Penny loves having a little brother. Everything Penny does Max wants to do, too. Penny took a few days to fully warm up to him, but she is very patient with his puppy ways and lets him jump all over her now. We were keeping them separated by a baby gate whenever we left the house just in case, but after about the second day of that, we watched on our home camera as Max scaled the gate to be with Penny and now they are together all the time. He is a happy little guy and full of personality- it has been so fun to see more and more of his goofiness come out everyday. Thank you for bringing him to us! and for all that you do for so many dogs and families :) -Jessica and Trevor"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
