Meet Honey! Honey was rescued just in time along with her brother when they were next in line to get killed for food. In certain areas in Taiwan “import workers” from other countries will capture strays dogs and eat them. Honey’s mother was killed that way and both her and her brother had to witness the killing. Due to this when rescuers was able to take them both puppies were terrified. Honey screamed in complete terror when rescuers reached for her and her brother shook in the corner in fear. It took some time but eventually with lots of love and conditioning the puppies have learned overcome their fears. However, sometimes with quick movements they will still duck in fear. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy and will continue to show Honey what it means to be in a home. Honey is patiently waiting!
