Brief Bio:

Meet Elsie! Elsie and her siblings were found as strays running around the side of a busy intersection. It is believed they were abandoned from their previous owner who mistreated them because they can be a little hand shy. Thankfully rescuers found them and took them in where they got full vet checks and are up to date on vaccines. Elsie and her siblings are shy at first and might seem unsure of their surroundings. With time, they will open up and learn that the world isn’t a scary place. Once opened up, they are very sweet puppies who just want to receive affection in return. Elsie is a sweet puppy who would love nothing more than to find a home to call her own. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Elsie is patiently waiting!

"Hi there! Things are going great!! We renamed Elsie to Sophie (my favorite movie is Howl's Moving Castle) and couldn't be more in love with her! She is such a sweet and loving girl and also very goofy. She is still very timid around strangers, but we started puppy training and are working on introducing new people to her appropriately. Every where we go, people are complimenting on how well behaved she is and of course, how beautiful she is. She truly is a looker and a sweetie. She loves to snuggle and by snuggle, take over my pillow and let me sleep next to her with the resident dog, Moby. Moby had been a single dog for 12 years so I was worried about their relationship, but they immediately took to one another and he even plays with her. We were so lucky to have found a dog that fit perfectly with our family, like she was always meant to be with us. I highly recommend Love and Second Chances to anyone who asks, and even those that don't! It was so wonderful seeing videos of her interacting with others, and getting updates until she was in our arms. Thank you for such a great experience, a wonderful pup, and a lifetime of happiness. Love, The McKees"
