No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Elsa. Elsa was rescued along with littermates and other puppies when they were found in a small abandoned house. When rescuers found the puppies they saw a few corpse of other puppies who were killed and eaten. When rescuers saw the remaining 14 puppies who were still alive they knew they needed to move them as soon as possible. All the puppies were brought to the vet for check up and although they were wet and skinny they were all relatively healthy. Elsa is a sweet pup who loves to play and be around people and other dogs. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Elsa is patiently waiting!
"Elsa (now Mei-Lien) is doing amazing. It took about 6 days for her to start fully relaxing and let her curious personality come out of her shell. She has impressive leash skills and responds to training commands quickly. The whole process with Love and Second Chances from start to finish was outstanding with the daily photo/video updates from Anita (rescuer) and the thorough medical documentation/equipment upon arrival. I will and have been recommending L&SC to other looking to rescue."
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
