No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Doug! Doug was rescued along with his mom and siblings when they were found as strays living in bushes next to a construction site. When rescuers found them the dad and one of the pups didn’t make it. However, luckily rescuers were able to get the rest of the entire family and bring them to the vet for health checks. Doug is a very friendly puppy who would love nothing more than to find a forever home. We are looking for a home understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Doug is patiently waiting!
"Duggy (formerly Doug) is settling in very nicely into our home. His favorite things include playing catch in the backyard with Max, learning new commands for treats (he already knows sit, down, and stay), and cuddling up at the end of the day. He adores his older sister and follows her around. She has been doing a great job showing him how to go outside to handle his business, cuddle on the sofa, and follow mom around when it's time to eat. Duggy is not so sure around strangers and new doggies, but we've got him signed up for puppy training classes and doggy day care. Everyone gushes about what a sweet and handsome boy he is. We already love him so much! Thanks, Jennifer"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
