No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Candy was rescued when a loving volunteer saw her scared, emaciated and suffering from a bad case of mange and secondary skin infection. Poor Candy was abandoned at the shelter and was set for euthanasia. Candy was such a sweet girl and deserved a second chance. Thankfully the volunteer saw the same potential and took her out and to the vet. Candy was treated and brought back to good health. The adorable girl has since found a loving home that adores her. Candy was able to make it out of the shelter and get the treatment she needed because of loving sponsors and supporters!
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
