No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Candy! Candy was found by a rescuer when they heard whimpers of puppies. Poor Candy was dumped and have given birth to a litter of puppies. When found she had hidden her puppies in a shed and was doing all she could to provide and given them what they needed to grow. Thankfully a rescuer was able to get Candy and her puppies some vet care and now that her puppies have all found homes its her turn! Candy is a sweet girl who would do well in a home that will show her what it means to be in a family. Candy is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
"Hi Melody! Candy (now Mila :)) is doing great! We are so grateful to your organization for linking her up with us and all you are doing to give such wonderful dogs new homes. She was a bit nervous and jittery for the first few days, but is setting in so wonderfully. We now couldn't imagine life without her; I can't believe its only been 2 weeks! She is loving long walks exploring the outdoors, snuggling on the couch, and going to work with me a few days a week to practice her socializing skills. She is also loving her squeaky toys - a dinosaur and skunk - I included a video of her with the dino :) She's gearing up to travel with us for the holidays, and is also starting training classes in January so we can practice her sit/stay/recall skills! Thanks so much for everything you do! - Nikki & Masa"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
