Meet Brelinda! Brelinda was founded as a stray with her litter mates on the side of the street scavenging for food. Luckily, rescuers were able to rescue her along with her siblings and bring them to a vet to get a clean bill of health. Brelinda is a sweet and affectionate girl who is waiting patiently for a home to call her own! We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Brelinda is patiently waiting!

ADOPTED!

Hi Melody, Thanks for following up!  I had been meaning to write you and I apologize for my delay in responding, but we were camping this past weekend.  Hobbes (Brelinda) had a great time and loved sleeping in the tent with all of us--except she got car sick both ways.  Poor girl :(.  Fingers crossed she outgrows it and doesn't dread the car since we want to take her everywhere with us!

I have attached some of the photos that we have taken, but we'll need to take a family photo of all of us and will send it when we do. As you can see, she loves laying on our back deck in the sun and having her belly scratched. The first few days when she arrived she stayed mostly in her crate or at my husband's side and didn't want the leash put on her. Since then she loves to curl up on the rug by the couch so she can see all of the action and runs to the front door for walks.  She still is skittish at times, but she is really good with the kids--and they love her.  She has also been good with other dogs, although she hasn't show much interest in playing with them so we need to continue to socialize her. She seems smart and is mostly housebroken, which is a relief.  We took her to her first training class last Saturday and the instructor was impressed. She made us proud ;).

As first time dog owners with young children, we were a bit nervous to do an international rescue where we could not meet the dog first, but the website write-ups and videos were accurate...she really is a very sweet girl!  Thank you again for all of your time and help bring us a new puppy...our family feels complete! Thanks, Hedy, Phil, Luca, Marek, Vivi...and Hobbes
