No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Billy! Billy was rescued when a partner rescuer saw a poor puppy limping on the side of the road with major road rash. Luckily she was able to get him off the streets and to the vet for a check up. Unfortunately his arm that was injured had already healed and surgery will be too intrusive without breaking the bone again. Billy is able to run and play like a regular puppy however will likely need a brace to help support weight on that weak arm. Billy loves to be around people and other dogs. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Billy needs a special home that understands his issues and will continue to help him thrive. Billy is patiently waiting!
"Remy (aka Billy) came to us July 9th and he settled in quite nicely. This was my first over seas adoption, and it went extremely well! Remy is great at snuggling, loves playing with his older sis Honey (a feral rescue from Louisiana), going to the dog park for romps with his friends in the pool, and taking walks around the neighborhood. He never meets a stranger, be it man or beast! We are so happy to have Remy in our lives! He is truly a good boy! -Melissa Klein"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
