No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Barnie! Barnie was founded as a stray with his litter mates on the side of the road scavenging for food. Luckily, rescuers were able to rescue him along with his siblings and bring them to a vet to get a clean bill of health. Barnie is a sweet boy who is waiting patiently for a home to call his own! We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Barnie is patiently waiting!
Hi Melody, Barnie (now Bolt) is more fun than we even imagined. From the moment he met our son, they were instant best friends- which was a relief since Barnie seemed very skittish from the flight. He's full of energy, loves to play fetch and keep away. He also LOVES to snuggle! He curls up on the couch with us. He also loves our kids pillow chairs and has claimed them for his own. He's skittish around strangers but is making progress, he warms up to them more quickly than before. We are working on his socialization by having visitors at home and also taking him out on walks to the park and playing at the dog park as much as possible. He sleeps great in his crate all night and is ready to run around and get his wiggles out first thing in the morning. He has been a huge blessing to our family, and we're so grateful to have him join us!
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
