No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Aro! Aro was found as a stray living by the dumpsters by an apartment complex. Residents living there stated he’s been living by the dumpsters for quite some time already, going through the dump for food. Aro is a sweet boy who would love nothing more then to find a home to call his own. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a part of the family. Aro has since gotten a clean bill of health and is now ready for his forever home. Aro is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody! Kalbi (Aro's new name) is doing well. He's sitting on command now pretty much any time he isn't distracted by other dogs. He's pretty much fully crate trained, but I still have to shove him in there a little when it's time. He's only had a couple accidents in the house in the last week too, so that's not too shabby. He jumps up a lot, which I think is because he looks so cute when he does it. I have a hard time getting my friends and strangers on our walks not to pet him and pay positive attention to him when his stands up and puts his paws on their legs. Work in progress. Overall, he's come a long way in just a couple weeks. He's definitely bonded with me very quickly, and he's super affectionate. He gets very excited when he sees us pull out our phones to take pictures of him, so he's hard to capture in a still photo :-D"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
