Meet Kobe! Kobe was saved from a high-kill shelter in 2017; he was only 3 months old but on the euthanasia list due to his skin issue. Rescuers took him out of the shelter and to the vet. The microscopic examination of skin scrapings revealed that Kobe was infested with Demodex, causing hair loss and itchy skin. After several months of medical treatment, his fur has grown back and he has gained weight. Kobe has a great temperament! He is a passionate, playful, and a smart dog. He gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with people including strangers and kids. He likes car rides and hiking. The rescuer has been trying to find him a home in Taiwan, but with no luck. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog as a part of their family. Kobe is patiently waiting!
