Meet Darcie! Darcie is an adorable 3 year old Formosan Mountain dog mix. She was rescued from the mountainside where her two front legs were caught in bear traps. Many people will set these traps out to prevent strays from roaming into their neighborhood. Poor girl lost both legs due to this.

Because Darcie is missing her two front legs, she needs a home with no stairs. If there are stairs or any steps, she needs to be carried. Darcie also cannot go on or off furnitures by herself, she needs to be carried on and off.

Darcie is a very sweet and happy girl! She is great with other dogs and loves to play! She also wants to play with cats! Darcie has been around kids and loves to be pet.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Darcie is patiently waiting!
