“Hi Melody!! – It’s hard to believe that it was only 4 days ago that we picked up Fiona (we renamed her Violet, btw). it’s been so much fun getting to know her & her mannerisms (like how she does the perfect “downward dog” yoga pose, and how she’s my little shadow, following me around wherever i go with her little tail wagging so she can see what i’m up to. it’s even more awesome to see her building up some confidence day by day. She’s the perfect addition to our family. it’s actually just as we had envisioned, if not better. her furry brother Winston made the adjustment to having her in the house within a couple days, and now they are chasing each other all over the place. it’s pretty awesome. We love her more and more each day, and it’s not even been a week yet! so yes, to answer your question – she’s definitely home to stay! Brief Bio: Meet Fiona! Two years ago Fiona was abandoned in the park. Fiona was surrounded by many male dogs but there was one male dog that always protected her, that male dog is now in a loving home. Fiona can sleep in a crate, she is very sweet and is well with other dogs. When entering a new enviroment she can be shy/timid but with time she will adjust and learn that the home is a good place. Fiona is very loyal and as long as the new family gives her love she will return the love for the rest of her life. Right now Fiona is patiently waiting for her own home. Fiona needs a calm and understanding home that will take time with her and help her learn the world is not a scary place. Fiona is patiently waiting!
